Pat Stanford Posted April 5, 2023 Share Posted April 5, 2023 If you buy a second hand license for Vectorworks, there is currently no path to upgrade it to a more recent version. As long as you have hardware and an operating system that is compatibly with the version you have you can use it "forever" Prior to January 2023, you could buy a license and also contract with Vectorworks for a Service Select agreement. Under Service Select you automatically have access to all versions released while your agreement is active. In January 2023 Vectorworks stopped selling new Service Select agreements. The only way to get a new license from Vectorworks (company) now is to purchase a subscription. When you subscription ends, your ability to use the program also ends until you renew the subscription.
