astronat
Hello, A client gave me a .vwx file that I tried to convert to .skp on my own but it seems like it is not possible without the program. Safe to say I do not own it, haha. I would really appreciate if anyone here could help me by exporting the file to .skp, it would really save my day! The file is this one: 27947576_KProject.vwx Quote Link to comment
michaelk
This is an educational version. I was able to open it. There is no 3D geometry, so I'm not sure what sketch up will do with it. VW will import .skp files but it doesn't export them. You can try this. I think you can import a .dwg into sketch up. 27947576_KProject_v2023.dwg 1 Quote Link to comment

DaxinWu
For VW 3d geometries, my approach is to export vwx to COLLADA file (dae format). Then import dae file to an skp file. Sketch Up understands dae better than 3ds. Edited August 25, 2023 by DaxinWu 2 Quote Link to comment
