TBrown
Can you change the colour of an image prop? or do I need to create a new one from scratch? I am preparing a rendering where I need to apply a corrugated metal siding in a slate blue colour as opposed to the galvanized image prop that came with VW. Any suggestions? Quote Link to comment
Vectorworks, Inc Employee Dave Donley Posted September 16, 2005 Vectorworks, Inc Employee Share Posted September 16, 2005 Hello Trevor: If the original image is somewhat grayscale, you can use it to create a filtered image shader which lets you tint the image with any color. Edit the prop's texture, choose an image bump shader, then in the dialog that asks if you want to import a file, choose instead to re-use the prop's color image. Change the color shader to a filtered image shader, and choose to use the bump image you just created. Then change the bump back to None. Quote Link to comment
