Wire Labels

How are cable (wire) number controlled in VW23? I'm asking about the labeling at the ends of the cable - like how to change the fonts and sizing.

Hello @Spitfire,

 

You can modify the classes CC-Circuit-Connector and CC-Circuit-Number to change the look of these texts. To change the fonts and sizing you can assign text styles to these classes and adjust them to your needs.

That worked, but... I needed to 'bump' (move) the objects in order to see the changes.

- You can try using Reset All plug-ins menu command for easier redrawing of the circuits. We will see if we can make this happen automatically without the need of reset (move, bump).

Ok, now one more thing. How do I control the text in the Cable Field (see image "PATCH")?

Hello @Spitfire,

 

The cable field is using the circuit object class, so whatever class your circuit is in, this is the class you can add text style to in order to modify this text.

 

P.S. By default, circuits go in the CC-Circuit-Signal-<circ signal> classes.

- Ohh, if this is the case then this text is controlled by the Circuit Cable parameter, which can be changed in the OIP:
