Find and select devices of same make/model

Is there any easy way to find and select all the devices of the same make and model? I'm thinking similar to the Spotlight find and modify tool, but I can't seem to use that tool for ConnectCAD devices.

Take a look at Custom Selection in the Tools menu of the default workspaces.

 

It will let you specify a criteria and then select objects that meet that criteria. This is one (or more) steps up from Select Similar. If you think you will need to use that group of objects again, make sure you save it as a script so you don't have to set the criteria every time.
