Megan M
I have a 3D model using a clear glass texture in the windoor objects so my clients can see through the windows in the 3d open GL views I present. However, when I create the elevations of the building , I don't want the windows to be transparent as you can see the lines of internal walls. Is there any way to address this? The only way I have been able to get around it so far is to change all the windows to opaque for the elevations and then change back for the 3D views. Quote Link to comment
Tom W.
I'm guessing you mean in Open GL elevations. All you need to do is override whatever class you are using for the 3D glass in the VP + turn off the texture. Then it will default to whatever solid fill you have assigned for that class: presumably white would be what you wanted but could be any colour e.g. a pale blue/green or whatever. Or you could override it with a different texture - an opaque rather than transparent one. If you wanted to have reflections or whatever on the glass. Quote Link to comment
