Hi I seem to run into a problem when exporting some set-elements from Spotlight, to Vision. My worksflow is to export to MVR, and then import the MVR to vision. But my textures seem to loose all color when exported to MVR. I use the alpha channel of the texture, as alpha channel in vision. Does any of you experience this behavior? Here are screenshots of my settings. I found that the textures in the vision texture folder is Black and white as well, like both are alpha textures. See the screenshot: Best from Mathias

Hello to all. I started to learn Vision 2021. I downloaded vision and Grand Ma3 onPC. However ı got some problems. I applied every directions step by step as @JuanP said ( However I couldn't update release_wiz_key_1.4.53.8.xml. because it doesn't appear any xml files. (upload the photo). Is it about ma3 onPC? I can't change the updatemode version. I think updatemode and idlemaster should be same version. (photo 2) And also i have to inform you something. I have no dongle and i have no Gma3 onPC port node. Can't i work without them? Can you please help me about this matter? Best Regards. 🙂

Hi all! In VW2021 I've made a model of a venue and a light plot containing trusses, hoists, lighting devices and so on. I then exported the venue (no trusses, lights, hoists) as a ESC file and imported it to Vision. So far so good (I think). Next, I exported the trusses, hoists, lighting devices and everything else used in the set design as a MVR file. Most of the things look ok, but why, oh why, does Vision import (or Vectorwork export) it like this? File with white background is from VW2021, before exporting. As you see, hoists are up side down and no truss is visible. But still the chains are at the correct position. And yes, all classes are visible during export 😃 I asked this question on FB as well but no answer so far. Thanks all! Looking forward! Martin

Hello I have a problem after installing Vision 2021. Apple OS detects Vision as malware. I get prompted with a message, that Vision wants do damage the computer, and I have to move it to the trash can. Does any of you know this problem? It has been working some months ago. Attached is a screenshot. However it is in danish. I am running OSX Catalina 10.15.7 on a MacBook Pro 15" 2018. I have beed uninstalling and reinstalling it. Best from Mathias

Hi All, Does anyone know of a way to make a slotted LED screen? I'm hoping to take the design into either Depence or Vision and I wanted to put lights behind the LED screen and shine through the screen - hence the slotted LED screen such as the ROE Vanish V8S. Can you do it using the LED screen tool, or do you have to create each strip of the LED screen separately / manually? Thanks for your time and help! Joel

Best regards The following is happening to me, update vision 2021, I was able to open an old file without problems, when I want to change from the dmx provider to grandma, it tells me that I need the dongle. I put it in, and it tells me that my Service Select is expired, but I have it active. Even now I can't open the 2019 or 2020 version, only in demo form. Any idea what I'm doing wrong? From already thank you very much.
