  1. Hi, it might be a general question for Vectorworks software across, but I've got a specific question for my usecase. Is it possible to replace a truss symbol in a drawing, similar to "Replace lighting devices" for... lighting devices?
  2. Hi, When using Braceworks, I get accuracy errors on my corner trusses. The problem seems to be that there is no data in P1. How can I correctly determine this value? The schematic is not entirely clear about the axis and points corners. Maybe, this problem is already solved, but I cannot find anything in the form. kind regards, Mathijs van Ommen
  3. Just placed a bit of Christie Lites 7'10" F-Type truss in a drawing straight out of the VW library... As you may be able to see from the attached screenshot, when in OpenGL (or anything other than Wireframe) the truss does not render, however, is still there as it highlights when hovered over and is selectable. I did have other truss in the drawing that was rendering absolutely fine. I have also tried in a blank file and checked the 3D component to make sure that it's solid. Can't work out what's going on after having a good look. Any suggestions/help would be greatly appreciated! Many thanks!
  4. Hello - I've been thinking about developing an upstage wall that consists of a surface that bevels out around multiple spheres and is covered with equipotential lines. Below I have added some images for reference. If you take the two different versions, picture the center of the spheres coming out toward the audience, while the areas in between them are further from the audience. There are a few different ways I have though about achieving this, but they are less than ideal. The first would be to attache a cable matrix to a series of variable length horizontal trusses. This would allow me to create the contours, but wouldn't really allow me to attach fixtures or illuminated deco along the equipotential lines. The second would be to layer wood cutouts, or similar material, that mimics the desired look if viewed from the audience (see third image). This, however, seems bulky, time consuming, and not flexible should we have to change the wall for a different sized venue. Is there a technology or technique that I might be missing? Perhaps someone has a better idea on how to achieve this look?
