Is it possible to edit the angle of the roof after creating it? You can change the pitch of dormer roofs, but I don't see how to change the main roof.

I'm not sure why it's happened, maybe I altered a setting without realising it, but when I go from a wireframe top plan view to and other standard view such as front, the projection changes from 2D Plans to Normal Perspective and the rendering to Open GL. How can I change things so that I get the standard 2D plan wire frame views again?

The problem was a corrupt wall style, I made a new unstyled wall and applied the attributes to the troublesome walls with the eyedropper tool. Thanks to CU VSS!

Yes I tried that Jim but having the same result, the VSS guys in London are looking at the file for me, meanwhile as a workaround I am replacing the wall style as it seems that the unsettled wall is corrupted in some way. Thanks Andrew

thanks, my two floor plans are almost in the centre of the A1 page which I think is the origin??

Has anyone else had problems with walls with doors in being uncontrollable? Some of my doors can't be removed from the walls, others become detached from the walls, some walls won't join or trim, or do anything really.

I need to show a back door with a side window as opposed to a side screen. The side window will only be say 1050mm high. I want to be able to have it attached to the door within the same structural opening. Is this possible?

I'm trying to make my Keynote block wider by changing the width in the OIP, when I do several of the keynotes then say N/A. They were duplicated on another layer, but even if I delete the duplicates I still get the problem. Any ideas?

Thanks for the 'heads up' re the SU workaround, my response to Nemetschcek though is if Sketchup can do it for free, then why can't you give folding doors as plug in objects so we can modify them at will. In the UK theses doors are very common indeed now so we really need the next service pack to include them. thanks

Seconded, I agree with all comments! Also the attributes palette is too small, please can we have the ability to scale it up Mr VW?

If I take a Top Plan view of a 3d house model it now shows as a perspective view in 2015. How do I get flat elevation views as we got in all previous releases?

If you are using a Mac you can view all fonts in the Font Book application

Indeed there is a comprehensive list, sadly though it doesn't include improvements to the folding door tool.

As far as I can see the only changes to the door tool are the introduction of a double leaf-double swing door (as in commercial kitchen 'bomber' doors), and the ability to have a bifold door with an unequal leaf on one side. In my view neither of these is very useful, and far less common than bi-fold doors. It really should not be necessary to purchase expensive additional CAD software such as Windoor to do this, as we should have everything within Vectorworks shouldn't we?? What I mean Jim is that we want to be able to have folding doors not just with 4 leafs but with any number, and with maybe one to the left and four to the right. Also for say a 5metre or wider opening we obviously need more than four leafs. These doors are very commonly used here both for house extensions and also for high street frontages e.g. restaurants and caf?s. Essentially we need a custom door tool just like the window tool. You have introduced the unequal leaf, we just need to go a bit further now! I see we now have a double swing-double leaf door, good I guess but bi-fold doors are far more common. Can we have the custom door tool introduced in the next service pack please? Thanks

VW 2015 still seems to make quite large file sizes even when the Purge command is used. Re 64bit; this has long been talked about but what difference should we be noticing when using 2015?

Looking forward to the getting the upgrade, movie trailer looks good, but will we now finally be able to have bifold doors with an uneven number of leafs? (been waiting sooooooo long now)

In VW 2014 you have to go into the resource palette to change the line type which is a bit of a pain. Is it possible to configure preferences to have the line style drop down in the attributes palette again?
