@JuanP - there’s a typo in the updated chart for MacOS compatibility as it has two columns for Vw2023; I assume the left-most column is for Vw2024.
-
@JuanP this compatibility chart needs to be updated to include Vw2024. Thanks.

@Archistyles I am running macOS Monterey 12.6.8; I just installed Vw2023 SP7 and it did not crash on me upon start up. So it seems fine here.

Thanks Jonathan but not what I asked for. I'd like to know where I can download the stand-alone updaters, not the Update command in the pull down menu.
If you run the Vw 2023 Updater application (on macOS it is located in in the same folder as the Vw application), click on the 'Advanced Options +' button at the right, and at the bottom is a link to 'Download Update'. Select that and you can choose which SP you want to download.

A webinar or other tutorial for the new 3D dragger would be appreciated.
Not a webinar, but as JuanP mentioned there is a 2min video introduction of the dragger over at the Vw University portal titled ‘Reshaping with the 3D Dragger’. -
One MAJOR limitation of the Layer Import file recovery method described above is that it will not transfer Stories or Levels between files, and it will also not transfer any Workgroup References that were in the file.
Any Story or Level bound objects which get transferred to the new file will give you an error that the bounding object ‘doesn’t exist’, or in the case of Stairs will not be created at all.

There is a 1h50min hands-on-training course about Space Objects over on the Vw University titled ‘Space: The Final Frontier’ which may help.

Ok I can't post either file as they are showing as unsupported file types. Can you send me an email address I can send them to?
The forum accepts ZIP files, so archive the files using ZIP format and then post the ZIP file to the forum. -
@S Dyson - even though the chart doesn’t go back as far as version 12.5, since version 2008 is shown as being only supported up to macOS 10.6, it’s safe to assume that would also be the case for version 12.5.

None of the 'HERE' URL links on this page seem to be working.
Custom Title Block

Yes, the Title Block border object was changed significantly in Vw 2018; this video only applies to Vw 2017 and older as noted. They are much more powerful now once you get them set up properly, which is not the easiest thing to accomplish.
Take a look at the Vw University portal, searching for ‘Title Block’. There are several videos to get you started creating a custom Title Block border object.
Also take a look at the Vw Help File, which also has a video on creating Title Block border objects.
