  1. Thanks for the reply! I've already done this with the components. In fact the insulation of the external walls is with 2 components in order to use half of it on the sides of the windows. But this is an issue in section viewports. Showing the shim gap will definitely help.
  2. Thank you both! Joining the components was a challenge but somehow I managed to join the walls. Another question : Using the end cap tool - the pen thickness of the insulation overwrites the pens of the solid wall. Is that correct? The same happens when turning the insulation in front of the windows. Object info / External wall detail / Component...
  3. Hello, I have difficulties joining walls when they are in different styles. Can anyone help me? Thanks!
  4. Thank you all! I found the solution in two steps: 1. Wall style / Wall attributes / Use component line attributes. 2. Window/Door obj info / Full break with caps.
  5. Hello Kevin Thanks for your respond. Unfortunately, this didn't help. I don't have to change the appearance of the door/window - it's OK. The issue are the wall connection areas - the pen thickness of the wall components change or disappear.
  6. Hello, When I place a door or window in the wall - there is an issue - the caps of the wall turn to be thin on the plan. Is there something wrong with the window settings? In object Info - Full break with caps and Full break without caps - it's the same on the top plan. I use Vectorworks 2017. Thank you
