  1. Is that because it effects how riggers can interact with it?
  2. Looks like I answered my own question. The truss wasn't drafted as a Hanging Position, once I converted the the truss from the object info palette it worked like a dream!
  3. I know it's something simple I'm missing, but I've gone through the videos and university tutorials and can't seem to find an answer. When I'm running a cable or cable path I can't seem to get the truss to highlight and attach. It just sticks to the layer plane. Suggestions? https://www.dropbox.com/scl/fi/4xwdclimj0sxn3l89971p/Cable-Issues.vwx?rlkey=oyzlqzuwdsbxyz0bkfbexs0ao&dl=0
  4. I don't make a lot of accessories from scratch and I can't seem to get past the first step on this one. I'm making a Base Plate I want to sit under the light. When I select it there is no Edit Symbol option available. I believe I have the records correct but I can't seem to create a layout symbol without it becoming part of the geometry. 🤷‍♂️ Lake Comp.Light Plot.vwx
  5. I made a pretty robust template file when I was on the educational license. I've since purchased a commercial license and am wondering.... if I get that template file de-watermarked, can I start importing my custom symbols and such into new docs without watermarking them?

  7. I see that it's on the roadmap. Any idea when the implementation would be?!
  8. Wow this is exactly what I needed to know! I wish there was a VW webinar that explained the stacking affect of these stored moves, but it makes a lot of sense. Jesse, thanks for the file repair!
  9. Here's the file, it's too large to upload on it's own, 3gb with only a few objects. Thanks Jesse, that's probably the issue. I first learned 3d modeling in sketchup which is all push pull and I did a ton of that here. I'll remake a couple objects using your suggestions and see what happens. 639107506_ElectricalBoxTS.zip
  10. I attached it as a zip file. First time posting. is there a better way?
  11. Super simple file just making boxes with holes in them to 3d print. Did a lot of duplicating and solid subtraction and push pull tool. So why upon opening this file it's using 18GB of ram even when rendering in wireframe? It only takes a couple of tasks to start hitting 98% usage. Just did a clean install of 2022 running everything at default. I have 32GB of Ram, Windows i7, 1060gtx Electrical Box TS.zip
  12. Is there a shortcut to swap up or down the class/layer menu? I'd like to not have to point and click every time.
