Just did a little experiment. I moved the vwx file from my project folder which is stored on Google drive file stream to my desktop. I re-opened the file and tried to edit the title block in the same manner and it worked, no crashing.
Has this got to do with the folder hierarchy?

Thanks so much for all your effort Nikolay.
I suppose this is the only way we can make VW better in the long run. Will let you know how workaround pans out.

Shucks, well then I have no idea.
Have attached the folder.

I'm still constantly experiencing this crash. I have attached another drawing that is doing the exact same thing. The drawing is untouched since the crash.
I would suggest opening the drawing, double-clicking on the title block, select Title block manager then click ok. This should reproduce the crash.
-
Right clicked on an existing title block template (specifically the CITT title block) in the resource browser and duplicated it in my drawing. I edited the style via the object info pallet and then assigned the duplicate to my title block border.

Attached is a video of the crash.
All I did prior to the crash was duplicate an existing title block and edited it to make it my own.
Hope this helps.

I opened a brand new drawing and used the same title block with no crashing issue. Might have been the drawing itself.
Did you manage to find anything substantial within the crash log?

Thank you for the quick reply,
Might not be an issue with VW then. Could be with the software I'm importing to.
Thanks for the help.

Where can I find that log file?

Thanks for the quick reply Nikolay.
Below is the report. Will send a recording soon.

Running Windows 10.
Attached is the file. I've tried converting the softgoods and stage decks to 3d polygons and then exporting but still no luck.
If its worthing anything I'm importing the 3ds files into GrandMA3d. The problem could lie with the MA software. However, I didn't have this issue with VW2017.

Also, refreshing the plot date crashes VW.
Attached is VW2019 file.

Hi There,
VW2019 SP1 keeps crashing when trying to enter the title block manager. Has anyone experienced this issue?

Thanks Betina.

@markdd Hey Mark,
This was a brand new file created in VW2019 😞
I found a workaround for now.
I selected the fixture I wanted and using the create label legend from the fixture, it would duplicate the currently active label legend and I would delete the old one.
But hope the issue is fixed in SP2.
-
Hi,
Basically, a light instrument that was assigned to a label legend just disappeared. When editing the label legend and trying to re-assign the instrument, it doesn't save the selection.
Attached is the file. You can check the "CONVENTIONAL" label legend. This is the LL that does not want to attach a light instrument.

Hi All,
I have an issue with 3ds exports in VW Spotlight. For some reason, when exporting softgoods or a stage deck, only some of the data is exported. ie. 4 of 8 curtains will be exported or the top of the stage deck is not exported but the legs and frames are.
Any help would be appreciated.
