  1. oh wow. dwg into 2017 was never a problem at all.

also when i import this specific file into 2017 and 2018 it appears to be ok.

    thanks for the workaround.

another one is to edit the symbol, nudge the geometry with the keyboard right and left and exit the symbol.

after that the ghosting disappears (mostly) too.

but i am aware to do this with huge dwg imports...

hopefully things in 2019 will speed up with the upcoming service packs... sp2 is terrible slow...

  2. in parts i can reproduce this.

happens here too when there are pixels inside a pdf

the "angeld arms" are drawn by hand, whereas the lower pdf contains vector lines.

more strange are the grayed out pdf pages that you can see.

these came in from a pdf that contains several pages. i found no way to import them correctly...

  3. this happens in different tools and things i am doing.

starting with selecting doors or windows that are placed in walls. after clicking on the elements it take 3-5 seconds that the spinning ball stops and the info in the oip gets visible.

editing path´s of extruded obects results in a sluggish interface where it takes some time that snapping point inside the path are found and snapped to.

moving a section viewport inside a sheet layer takes 2-3 second to get a redraw while the spinning ball is visible.

all geometry was buildt up in 2019, some parts converted from a 2018 version.

i stepped back to sp1.1 and the overall interface is much faster.

    anyone else with this behauvior?

  4. sp4 is very unstable for me. i guess i will go back to sp3.

getting more and more unexpected crashes also while updating references or saving and committing to project sharing.

also, when more drawings are opened i have problems with screen redraws and visual errors. in 2d plan things are where they are supposed to. in axonometric views everything flies around.

closing other drawings solves the problems.

things that didn´t happen in sp3

the tricks that rummelplatz wrote didn´t change anything.

  5. Since i installed SP4 a few days ago, i experience more and more random crashes when doing something really normal like changing the view with keyboard shortcut or choosing a tool with keyboard shortcut or zooming with keyboard shortcut (i.e. command-2)

All crashes that i had the last days always occur after a keyboard shortcut...

    Anyone else?

  6. Strange behauviour that i came across

I was modeling an object while all profiles and preconstuctions have been in a group.

Each object has a solid filling and the fill color set to white.

Insides the group when open gl is turned on, everything looks good.

Exiting the group show that the group itself does not have a solid filling an the color of the 3d objects changes to a darker shading

Trying to change the attributes of the group does not do anything

Ungrouping the group does not change the color of the objects even the attribute palette shows the settings that have been made while modeling the objects...

    Strange.

    See the screencapture...
