Vectorworks, Inc. has released its fifth update for the Vectorworks 2024 product line. This update includes the following new functionality and quality improvements that enhance your everyday experience with Vectorworks 2024.

Fundamentals
- Renderworks styles that use Redshift by Maxon now offer an option for interactive preview rendering (IPR) in design layers. IPR provides fast interactive, progressive renders as you change geometry, lighting, backgrounds, and textures.
- Reliability improvements to the Selection tool’s Transform mode.
- Improved general stability.

- USD file export stability improvements

- Improvements to project sharing on Google Drive
- Cabinet doors and drawers display better in Top/Plan view
- Improved support of fence infill and footings in IFC export
- Wall closures are now supported in IFC export

- MVR import now automatically corrects for skew in an object location
- Improved filtering of the equipment summary key

ConnectCAD
- Equipment items used as drop points are now included in the cabling sheet diagram.
- The Renumber ConnectCAD Objects command works better with rack-mounted equipment.

Installing the Update
This update is available as a downloadable updater for all U.S. English-based versions of Vectorworks 2024. To install the update, please select Check for Updates from the Vectorworks menu (Mac) or Help menu (Windows).
