Returning to a set position?

I was just wondering...

Is there a way to set up an 'anchor point' in a Vectorworks file that would allow me to always return to that point and view if I've had to change views to edit something in my file.

For example, I produce exhibition stand designs for various clients and after setting up the view and perspective amounts I'd like to be able to 'set' that point and then after changing views to edit the file return to that point so that the client can see the changes made to their design from exactly the same position/location.

Any ideas gratefully received.

Matt, try using the "SAVE SHEET" command which is found in a pull down menu at the borrom of your VW's drawing (It looks like a little arrow, next to all the zoom commands down there). Here's how: 1) set your view up exactly as you want it, uncluding any custom layer/class visibility; 2)Go to the "SAVE SHEET" command;3) A dialog will appear which allows you to set he name of the sheet (EG: "VIEW 1") and other sheet attributes. Set them and click OK;3) Now change views, to whatever you want;4)When you want to return to "VIEW 1", simply go down to that same pull down and select it (It will now appear down there). You can have lots & lots of saved sheets. Have fun! Peter Cipes
