Peter Eichel
I know you cannot use hybrid windows when creating these roof components, however, if you drag a hybrid window onto a roof from the resource browser, it works, if you make it active, it doesn't work. If your making a skylight, it will cut a hole in the roof but won't insert the window. When I drag the same hybrid window into an open space with the intention of rotating it and then moving it into the roof cutout, I get the message "hybrid objects can only be rotated in the Z axis", grrr!!!. Can someone please give me step by step instructions on how to create a window that works from a hybrid. Thank you. Quote Link to comment

billtheia
Peter, did you find a way to use window PIOs for skylights? I'm trying now and can't get anything to work. Quote Link to comment
Yancka
Bill, the answer is that for skylights you must use symbols that are 3D symbols. That means they contain only 3D geometry. Quote Link to comment
