Pochflyboy
Is there any way to move where the Layout Room ID is positioned. It is inconsistent and overlapping so it is hard to read. Quote Link to comment

What you can do is change the layout room outline and that way have the id label in a different relative position from it. This can be done with reshape tool. Pochflyboy
Okay it seems like the "Create Objects from Shapes tool" is placing them in very obscure positions and I can't quite identify how it is selecting where to place them. Quote Link to comment

Vectorworks, Inc Employee Nikolay Zhelyazkov Posted June 6, 2022 Vectorworks, Inc Employee Share Posted June 6, 2022 Hello @Pochflyboy, When using Create Objects from Shapes the ID label gets created a bit bottom right from the first vertex of the used polygon. In your file you can see that the first vertex in the different polygons is different, by clicking and holding on the circle in the Vertex widget in the OIP (image below). So, that is where the difference comes from. You can easily edit the path of the circuit, move the polygon around and see how the label gets positioned based on that (currently the label is always displayed at a bit bottom right from the insertion point of the object).
