Transferring device properties changes port spacing

Not sure, which settings I messed up (am not aware ever having changed anything associated with the spacing between ports), but...

when I use the pick up and apply attibutes tool, the changes are transfered, but the spacing between the ports is changed.

what did I do? and where? 😄

Is it possible that these 2 sockets have the same name and different tags? If not, could you send me this test file so that I can check what is going on?

So, the problem here is that your sockets on both of the devices are actually overlapping each other by a tiny bit. However, when you do the pick up/apply device attributes the end goal is not to have any overlappings. That is why the second socket gets moved down by one grid to avoid this initial overlap. So the solution here would be to make sure that your source device sockets do not overlap.

I knew the problem was sitting in front of the computer.

Was trying to make changes to the way sockets were displayed and made changes to skt_txt_L/R last week. thought I reset these. obviously I didn't properly.
