Space Planning Calc WARNING

Warning n the AEC Space Planning > 'create Space from polys'. The Spaces are created perfectly and then when a Worksheet calculates the areas & perimeters there is appears to be an error in the calculations. For each Space poly enter group and check the OIP for the correct area & perimeter and compare this to the Worksheet Record with SpaceNames & SpaceNumbers.

TO AVOID THIS PROBLEM:

do not use "=Area" or "=Perim" in the database fields becuase they will generate wrong sums,ONLY USE:

"=SPACE.AREA" AND "=SPACE.PERIM"

One additional point. The errors are just small enough and the area calc is close enough to actual that it is easily over looked especially on complex polygons or larger spaces.

and , I forgot to mention , only use "SPACE.VOLUME"
