RickBern Posted April 21, 2004 Share Posted April 21, 2004 Robert I've installed my brand spanking new copy of VW 11 and have been happily playing around with the new features. Good work! It would be great to add functionality to the ceiling grid tool so that one could reset the start point of the grid relative to the polygon that was drawn. With a little redefinition this tool could also draw floor patterns or wall tiles as well. And, while I'm at it, with the addition of an "offset" value the tiles could be staggered making this a great way to be able to set down various hatches on a drawing and do "what if" variations based on different start points to the grid. The ceiling grid object has a control point that sets its 'origin'. (Your other wishes are met by the Landmark "Hardscape" tool, which also has control points for this kind of thing.)
