Travis
We frequently use wood-grained textures. Is there a way to have the textures render with correct orientation--meaning the woodgrain runs the long direction for frame/stile/sash/jamb, etc? All I seem to be able to get is the grain running one direction: "horizontally" OR "vertically", but not both as req'd to reflect reality. Any help would be appreciated. Quote Link to comment
Kristen
I don't think there is a way to do that with a plug-in door. What I'd do if I'm getting that detailed with the rendering is create my own door symbol. You can just ungroup a plug-in door, and turn it into a regular 3D symbol. Then you can apply the texture independently to each component (Using the mapping function in the Texture OIP). Quote Link to comment
Travis
Thanks, Kristen, I'll do that. That should also solve the texture scaling issues, that I hadn't even mentioned yet. Quote Link to comment
