knites
I set up a new document with: Page Setup: Arch C Printable Area: Arch C Border Drawing: Arch C The border is place 1/2 in. off center horizontally (with 1:1 scale). How can I place these border drawings dead center. They are all placed this way. Quote Link to comment
Vectorworks, Inc Employee Robert Anderson Posted August 5, 2003 Vectorworks, Inc Employee Share Posted August 5, 2003 The border symbols are that way for a reason. Consider that for an Arch C (18" x 24") sized sheet, the printable area is NOT 18" x 24". For example, on my Mac, the printable area of an Arch C sheet is 17.5" x 22.63", using the HP plotter driver. If you select this sheet size using your Page Setup command and then choose One Sheet in the Set Print Area command, this is the gray page-rectangle you will get. The border symbol is offset to fit all the relevant printed data into this printable rectangle and to give you a staple gutter on the left side. HTH. Quote Link to comment
