VW9 opening VW8.5.1 file crashes

I am running VW9 on a PM 8600/250 with OS 8.6 and 224MB ram with 100 MB allocated to VW9.

I crash every time I try to open most files that were started in VW8.5.1. I am able to open some small files from one folder but the rest bring a

"The Application "Vectorworks" has crashed (unmapped memory exception)" from Norton

or

"one or more operations aborted due to lack of memory, increase partition size"

I had made the mistake of trying to install RW

earlier so I trashed VW9 and reinstalled VW9 completely.

Any ideas (esp from NNA) would be appreciated.

Syd, why don't you send me a copy of the file? In general, when you have a repeatable error like this, the **best** thing to do is send a description of the problem to bugsubmit@nemetschek.net and attach a .sit or a .zip version of your file. Then we can attempt to reproduce the error. When we can reproduce an error, we are a long ways down the road to fixing it.
