Clas-H
Hello people, I'm printing alot of drawings to PDF (OSX) and now I want to combine several of these single page documents into one for convenient faxing and emailing etc. I know that Acrobat would be a fix for this but wonderd if any body knows a cheeper (freeware?)way to acheve this on my Mac running Tiger. Greatful for any answer. Quote Link to comment
islandmon
Clas-H .. if you are faxing you can use Vectorworks to import the PDFs and fax from there via print to fax. The cheapest way to send multiple PDF files via email is to put them in a Folder and then stuffit or zip it and attach the compressed file with PC friendly headers. Finally if you need the power of Acrobat there's simply no other progam like it that I'm aware of. Also you can look at PS2PDF via www.versiontracker.com ... these are Applescripts that perform similar functions to Acrobat Distiller. Quote Link to comment
Jason Turley
There are a few ways to do this. Automator can do it I think, but my favourite way is using the freeware Combine PDF app. http://www.monkeybreadsoftware.de/Freeware/CombinePDFs.shtml Jason Quote Link to comment
