Snapping Issues 11.51

Sometimes my symbols dont want to snap to the proper Z Height, although it picks up the smart point of another symbol which has it's height set. Lately they have been snapping to '0' no matter which point it picks up.

Also, I have a locus point inbedded into a symbol, and althought it is right at the top of a piece of geometry on the symbol, it doesnt recognize it is there when I mouse over it.

Very annoying.

Am I missing something?!!

1) In planview the snap is Z=0. Try an orthgonic view for 3d snaps.

2) Is it a Hybrid Symbol?

It seems to be a figity issue. Sometimes is problematic, other times it is fine. I cant make it work, as it seems to be OK most of the time. One of those strange untrackable phenomenons.

You know what, Islandmon... you are correct. I had it in plan view. One of those obvious things I was missing.
