Last File Open on Startup?

Recommended Posts

You could open the file from its location by double clicking I suppose rather than starting VW first. When you open a file this way I've found it does not create a blank document first.

Of course the fact you in this instance want to open a file that crashed may cause VW problems in locating it but its worth a try.

Many of my files are backed up on disc these days with little work located on the machine so

I just load the disc, search for the file via Explorer (Windows based) and double click to open.

I do feel this is such an obvious and simple answer that maybe I don't understand your question fully and have missed something, but I hope this helps in some way anyway. Good luck

All the best

Alan
