tgm
I just booted up our new computer system today and we are using VW11.0.1 on WinXP with a Logitech Trackball, which has always worked fine for us. The ball seems to lose its capabilities only when in VW. It runs normal in all other programs and when I switch windows between VW and the other programs it works fine. Is there a compatability issue I am not aware of?? Thanks, Tom in PA Quote Link to comment
G_Hannigan
I use a Logitech Cordless Optical Trackman w/ VW 10.5.1 (Driver 9.79), WinXP Pro (SP2). What capabilities are lost? Quote Link to comment
tgm
Cursor movement is at a crawl when using in VW. Out of VW environment it reacts as I set it in the Logitech preferences panel. Tom Quote Link to comment
Guest
Tom, Make sure you've updated to the latest driver. I know you've switched to a new computer. If you haven't updated the drivers, chances are the one you are using is out of date. You should be able to update from logitech.com. Quote Link to comment
G_Hannigan
9.79 is the most recent driver. Have you tried changing the settings in the motion tab in the Mouse Properties panel? Do different settings change the behavior at all? My current settings are: Acceleration - Medium Speed - One notch above slow. I'll be upgrading to VW 11 soon, but want to keep the trackball.
