jb44 Posted September 2, 2004 Share Posted September 2, 2004 Hi there, I am having trouble creating PDF files from VW. We are running a number of different Macs all of which have the same problem including a G5 with OSX10.3.3 and VW 10.5.1 and 3x G4's with either VW 10.5.1 or 10.1.1. When we print direct from VW all our lne thicknesses come out as per our drawing. However when we go 'file' 'print' and 'save as a PDF', all the lines suddenly become very thick indeed (especially those drawn at angles). My dimensions that were thinner than my outline in VW are now as thick as my outlines in the PDF. I would appreciate any help with this as we fequently have to send PDF drawings to clients and the current quality is unacceptable. Many thanks. Quote Link to comment
isis Posted September 2, 2004 Share Posted September 2, 2004 when you go to the print file. rather than just clicking the save as pdf button, change the copies and page drop down to output options then click save as file. with the format as pdf. This isn't a definite way to fix it but it helped when we had the same problem. chris Quote Link to comment
