VW 2018 Installer Crashing After Extracting

When opening the VW 2018 installer, it opens the extracting dialog. Immediately after reaching 100%, it closes and nothing else happens. I've tried removing the installer and redownloading it without success.

What operating system are you currently using? What is the full filename of the installer you downloaded?

I'm using Windows 10. The file name is Vectorworks2018-SP2-401138-SeriesE-installer2-win

The extracting dialog you refer to is the windows utility unzipping the file, or the branded Installer UI doing an extracting phase?

If its when decompressing the Zip, is it using the default windows utility? Or are you using something like WinZip or 7zip? This article was designed for a different reason, but worth trying if its the built in utility thats causing issues:
 

If its the branded Vectorworks UI disappearing after extracting, if you right click on the installer and choose "Run as Administrator" instead, does it behave differently?

Its the branded Vectorworks UI disappearing after extracting. When right clicking and choosing Run as Administrator, it does the same thing.

This machine is well below the system requirements for Vectorworks, I have not had that affect the installer before, but even if we got the installer working, odds are Vectorworks itself would not be able to run at all, or would be highly unstable. The needed specifications can be found here:
 

That machines CPU, display resolution and GPU are all below what is needed.
