lgoodkind Posted October 16, 2017 Share Posted October 16, 2017 (edited) I've noticed over the years that when you save a file in a rotated plan view containing referenced files and then re-open the file later all of the referenced files are no longer located properly in the file. For instance you have a civil survey file referenced in to your architectural site plan file. For ease of drafting you rotate the plan view so objects are orthogonal 90deg to your view. if you save and exit this file when you re-open it your civil file will no longer be located where you need it. This has been a HUGE problem for our office over the years and makes the 'rotate plan' tool pretty useless and in fact dangerous.
