VW11 Foundation 1 Learning CD

Greetings,

I'm using the subject CD. It has a link back to "VW" at the bottom of the page. When I select it, it opens VW10 not VW11. I've tried opening VW11 first then the training CD. It ignores 11 and still opens 10.

Is there a user setting that would cause the CD to default to 11? It would ease training to link to the proper program.

That's because the file association is set to VW 10, not VW 11.

Are you on a Mac or PC?

When you launch VW 11, do you get a dialog box that says "Do you wish to associate all files types with this version of VW? YES OR NO" ?

If so, what are you, or did you, select here?

Select YES and check mark "Don't Show me again".

After doing that, clicking on the VW icon in the training CDs will launch VW.

That dialog box is essentially writing the file association for all VW files.
