bc
When I extrude an object in top plan view, it ends up being slightly different in size than if I had extruded it in front view. I'll elaborate: Object Size= 1" x 10" x 10" First object is created in top plan by drawing a 1 x 10 rectangle and extruding it 10 inches. Second object is created in front view by drawing a 10 x 10 rectangle and extruding it 1 inch. This should produce the same object but when they are both viewed in top plan together one is a few pixels larger say in the 1 inch dimension and they don't line up or overlay cleanly. The Object Info Palette says that both are the same size. What gives? and how can this be corrected? Thanks, bc Quote Link to comment
Guest
Use the Align command to align the two objects by center points along both the settings on the right and the settings at the bottom. They will be the same size. Quote Link to comment
