Bill
Once in a while VectorWorks will die with a "Runtime Error ... Abnormal Program Termination" error. Besides filling out the form on www.nemetschek.net/support/bugsubmit.html, is there a dump file that is created somewhere that would also be useful? Guest
You should contact Tech Support in regards to this problem rather than bug submit, especially if there is a specific operation, constant time usage in program, or specific file causing the problem. 410-290-5114 or tech@nemetschek.net Quote Link to comment
Bill
For anyone else that is interested, this is the latest from tech support: quote: No dump file is created with useful information when a runtime error occurs. You can contact tech support about a problem you are experiencing even if you don't remember exactly the last steps you performed before the error occurred. However, if you know the exact steps you took, it is very helpful to us because then we can try to replicate, troubleshoot and find a possible solution to the problem you are experiencing. If you are still getting runtime errors, I would suggest for you to please download and install the latest driver for your video card. Also, please update to the most recent version of VectorWorks available for your VectorWorks product. You can download the VectorWorks Updaters from our website at: http://www.nemetschek.net/downloads/index.html [ 01-26-2004, 07:50 AM: Message edited by: Fozz ] Quote Link to comment
