Multiple Offset Tool Broken in v10

Recommended Posts

As near as I can tell the Offset tool no longer behaves correctly with multiple objects.

In previous versions I could create a buch of squares which butt up against each other. Let's say they form a 4x3 grid of blocks. Select all of the squares. Get the offset tool (by point mode). Set an offset distance, and make sure multiple objects is checked.

In the past I could click inside the front most object, and all of the boxes would have a square offset to the inside.

However, now when I click on any square the same thing happens. The square that I click inside has a box offset inside, all others have a square offset to the outside. Oops!

This is at least the way it is working right now on a Mac under OSX.

Can others replicate this problem, and can it be added to the bug fix list.

Thanks.

Ken
