The impression I got from this announcement is that this only applies to space objects. It would be really useful if this functionality would be expanded to any object with attached records so that clicking on an object in Bluebeam would then also show the data in the attached record. This would be very useful for 3D models where you can put the item number, description and other info (e.g. dimensions, capacity, function etc.) into the record and then whoever gets the 3D PDF can then click on an item and see what it is instead of having to use a separate 2D view with annotations all the time to figure it out.

Just read the announcement that Vectorworks PDF export now includes Vectorworks space object data and attributes that Bluebeam can now display.
