Simon Price
I have scanned a map (via AdobePhotoShop), saved it as a pict file, and imported it into Vectorworks (using the pict. not pict as image option). I want then to be able to clean up the map, but so far as I can see the only way I can do this is by the Clip Tool, and that does not seem to work on a pict file. I have therefore vectorised the map (using the Bitmap command). This enables me to edit the contour lines, but I am left with the original contours underneath, which I can't get rid of. How do I get rid of them, or at least conceal them in a different layer? I also note that the vectorised lines (at 2 pixels) are less elegant than the original. Is it possible to make the vectorised lines as elegant as the original? Quote Link to comment
Guest
Set your 2d resolution in VW preferences to High instead of low. As for getting the other stuff to be hidden - you may want to move the image to another class and make that class visible and invisble as necessary. Quote Link to comment
