davidwd
Hi , A quick query on something ( with no doubt a simple solution) I am experiencing here Working in 2d on plans / elevations of a "ships cabin" - involving raked floor at 3deg... walls at 6 Deg etc etc .I have various repeat elements set out as symbols - working on layer plane for all. although in top /plan. On entering edit symbol with "other objects grayed out " and working in rotated plan I cannot accurately snap to any objects outside of the symbol. Lines & polylines vanish and /or leap to other positions/display angles dependant on zoom ratio. Is there a particular way I need to specify symbol creation ? or work in different process in order to display objects relative to the symbol? Thanks David Quote Link to comment

davidwd
Hi Jim , No . if Plan rotation is 0.00 everything remains visible and orientated correctly . I have tried resetting user origin to internal origin . I previously had a file where these appeared to be wildly offset and the page was leaping to offset locations on exiting groups / viewports . but this is not the case here . it is a strange display where lines / polylines display at wild angles whilst zoomed in in editing modes . regards David Quote Link to comment
