Scott Pointon
Opening VectorWorks 9.5.1 Drawings in VectorWorks 10.0.0 found problems with Callouts. Adding a new or editing a current callout causes the Marker Style to change from a Dot to a Solid Arrow. Changing Marker Style & Size in Object Info Pallet has no effect on Callout. Have found un-ticking ‘Use at Creation’ box for the None Class settings will allow the callouts to display correctly. This causes another problem when using the Center Mark Tool. As I like to change the center mark to a Centerline class but this no longer works in updating the Attributes with ‘Use at Creation’ un-ticked. Guest
You should almost never set the None Class to use a specific attribute. Most plugin objects have embedded objects belonging to the None Class. When these objects are drawn and an attribute is set to the None Class, the objects will take on the none class setting no matter what the individual class setting is. If you have an object belonging to a class that has a specific attribute, you should have Use at Creation checkmarked for that class but not on for the none class. That way, the object will use the settings for it's special class. You should update to VW 10.0.1 and then 10.1 via our web based updaters or requesting a VW 10.1 install CD. The web based updaters are located on the Download page. You can request a CD by contacting customer service at 1-888-646-4223 or sales@nemetschek.net. Quote Link to comment
