POA
So, Im sure this must have come up before but I have to ask anyway. Is there a reliable way to get gridlines in viewports? I'm really hoping to not have to draw them in the annotations layer as this could lead to some serious inaccuracies. Something 3D in the model itself would be ideal. Anyone got any ideas? Thanks for your time. Quote Link to comment
Guest Wes Gardner
At this point, there is no automation for what you are suggesting...however it's a VERY GOOD suggestion. I'll submit it as an enhancement request. Quote Link to comment
POA
Thats a real shame, I know Revit has a system in which the grid lines are basically invisible 3D planes running through the model and whenever they are cut they display grid lines and bubbles. Something like that would be ideal. What is the general protocol then, add it to the annotations layer? Quote Link to comment
Guest Wes Gardner
Yes, In the past I have also made story poles and saved them as symbols. Quote Link to comment
RDS Casa
hello. 2019 is now out. Has this been implemented yet yes? There must be a way for the grid lines to appear vertically, and some storey lines in the viewports now? Can't find any guidance on it? Thanks Quote Link to comment
