Phil hunt Posted October 21, 2014 Share Posted October 21, 2014 i have been using rotate plan tool....and saving a view of an elevation......i have then made additions to the file drawing but on returning to the save view the additions to the model are not updated in the saved view......is there a check box or is the saved view not meant to update......thanks Quote Link to comment
Vectorworks, Inc Employee PVA - Admin Posted October 21, 2014 Vectorworks, Inc Employee Share Posted October 21, 2014 Saved Views include class and layer visibilities by default, this often leads to missing geometry in them if you created new classes or layers that were not present before the saved view was created. You can go to Tools > Organization > Saved views and edit what classes and layers each one has, or enable/disable whether they save class and layer visibilities at all. Quote Link to comment

Vectorworks, Inc Employee PVA - Admin Posted October 21, 2014 Vectorworks, Inc Employee Share Posted October 21, 2014 You have Architect, so you should be able to do this in the Saved Views tab from the Navigation palette as well, its a little faster than going to Organization each time.
