Working with my 1st pdf import in v2015. Reiterating the long standing wish for better PDF performance. General navigation seems slow. PDF is 800kb residential site plan, probably from ACAD. Tried both menu import and drag/drop.
New setup:
vwx2015
MBP(late 2014 quad core i7, 16mb) OS10.9.5
Redraw of zoom or pan clears after informal count of 9.
Old setup:
vwx2014
MBP(late 2008 dual core, 4 mb) OS 10.6.8 generally lower spec.
Redraw clears after informal count of 7 or 8.
So about even. Count is informal. Zoom level and pan extent not controlled.
I have no idea why PDF Pages are so troublesome, but they sure balk at screen redraw. I hoped for some marked improvement.
I wish PDFs responded faster to common screen navigation functions.
