I'm fairly new to Vectorworks but have used it long enough to see things could be done better.
I'd like to see some more controls when "designing" windows or doors.
For instance...when selecting trim whether inside or out it covers the "jamb" I'd like to see this position adjustable. Most replaceable vinyl windows (as there called) have a thickened jamb that is much different from traditional windows that creates a kind of box within which are the sashes moveable or otherwise. See pic.
Maybe even provide a function to change the profile of the trim.
The pic shows some outer trim that is really a brick mold. A similar piece can be done for siding. You'll see that there is about a 2" thick jamb or body of the window before the individual sliding sashes.
