Dubman
I see that NVIDIA is working with Auto Desk/AutoCad for a performance video card just for their software, why doesn't VectorWorks do the same ? From NVIDIA site "NVIDIA continues to invest in digital content creation and is a strong partner for Autodesk, as well as the AutoCAD and 3ds Max communities," says. "The new NVIDIA Performance Drivers for 3ds MAX 2010 and AutoCAD 2010 provide our joint customers with the performance muscle they need to boost productivity in the creative pipeline." Vectorworks, Inc Employee PVA - Admin Posted August 11, 2014 Vectorworks, Inc Employee Share Posted August 11, 2014 Currently a specialized driver program would be putting the cart before the horse. Once Vectorworks has been optimized to get the most out of your graphics hardware (which will be soon, it isn't currently) then it would be prudent to pursue custom drivers if performance was being hindered by the standard ones. It isn't a bad idea at all, but there are a few intermediate steps that needs to be taken first. Quote Link to comment
