SharonP
I am drawing a brick veneer house which I have done many times before, but this time some of the walls are at a 45? angle to others. What is happening is that the hatch indicating the brick veneer in my wall type (45? lines) is fine on the walls that are vertical or horizontal in plan, but those at 45? or 135? are showing the hatch as vertical or horizontal, thus losing the hatch effect. Is there a way I can get the hatch to rotate so that it is always at a 45? angle to the wall itself? Thanks Sharon Quote Link to comment
M5d
Yes. Edit the hatch from your resource browser. On the left of the hatch dialogue there's a check box "Rotate" for "In Wall" and "In Symbol". Quote Link to comment
SharonP
Perfect! Thanks so much for the help - that is exactly what I was after. This forum in invaluable as I would have spent hours trying to figure that out on my own! Sharon Quote Link to comment
TJV
I had the same issue while working in rotated plan view. If you are using hatch for walls or symbols, this option in edit hatch will help it align to wall or symbols axis. Quote Link to comment
