Guest Posted November 14, 2002 Share Posted November 14, 2002 When you select the door, does it say "Door in Wall" at the top of the OIP above the Class drop down box? If it doesn't, then the door isn't selected. Quote Link to comment
whitecap Posted November 14, 2002 Author Share Posted November 14, 2002 katie, it only says simple door 2, yet the selection handles surround the door, that in conjunction with the info in the iop gives the indication that the door is selected. does his mean that the door is not inserted into the wall correctly? Guest Posted November 14, 2002 Share Posted November 14, 2002 Yep. When an object is inserted IN a wall, it will say "[that object] in Wall" such as "Door in Wall". Make sure you have the wall insertion mode active in the mode bar when the 2d selection tool is active. Also make sure you get the smart cue "Object" when inserting a door or window in wall and not "Point". Quote Link to comment
