Kevin McAllister
Does anyone know why "show page boundary" isn't file specific like the other Page Setup options (i.e.. it turns it off/on for all files)? I'm surprised I never noticed this before. I usually have it off in the design layers except when laying things out for 3D printing (I have a page size that matches the build plate of my printer). Vectorworks, Inc Employee PVA - Admin Posted January 16, 2014 Vectorworks, Inc Employee Share Posted January 16, 2014 Never noticed that, I always turn it off first thing and only use it per sheet layer. It seems like something that should be document specific so it could be kept with a template. Not sure why its that way. I'll check and if its that way for a reason i'll post. Quote Link to comment
Kevin McAllister
I assumed the same as you Jim. Seems like a wish list item to be document specific if its possible. Kevin Quote Link to comment

Kevin Been that way since I started (MC+4, circa 1993). For sure an annoyance, and something that should be a doc pref. I like to start jobs by setting my Page Setup and then laying out with page boundary on in design layers. Helps determine extent without having to make VPs and sheet layers right away. Once I know the right combo of scale and sheet size, I turn it off from then on. V-G MiniCAD 2013, 2014 Mac OS Ex Quote Link to comment
