jnr
Two sheet viewports of isometric views of a building are behaving badly. Open the file one time, it renders correctly with roof and glass texture displaying as advertised. open the file the next day, or update the view, roof and glass texture vaporize. go to saved view of an isometric, render it, then back to the sheet, update the two viewports, and presto, roof and glass reappears. Anyone else seeing erratic behavior like this? Its a native 2014 file built from scratch. SP1 update done after the file was created. Designer 2014 SP1 Quote Link to comment
Vectorworks, Inc Employee PVA - Admin Posted October 30, 2013 Vectorworks, Inc Employee Share Posted October 30, 2013 Did this start happening specifically after the SP1 update or did you see it before? If you create a new viewport of the same geometry on a new sheet layer, does the same problem crop up right away or does it work properly, at least for the moment? Are these issues only occurring in OpenGL, not any other rendering modes? Quote Link to comment
jnr
Jim: I think after SP1. new viewport, new sheet different iso view, same problem. you can see all the geometry in wireframe, which is really not a rendering. renders properly in custom render works, switch back to open gl, problem reappears. am testing on my laptop (same os, same sp1). go to design layer, changed a door, back to sheet, update, roof and glass disappear. -J Quote Link to comment

Vectorworks, Inc Employee PVA - Admin Posted October 30, 2013 Vectorworks, Inc Employee Share Posted October 30, 2013 Could you post a screenshot of what you are seeing as well, please? Im trying a few re-renders here to see if I can force the problem to happen in the meantime. http://kbase.vectorworks.net/questions/892/How+to+take+a+Screen+Shot Quote Link to comment
