Bruce Kieffer
What is this tool? It appears in the Dims/Notes tool palette. When I click it I get an error message (see the screen shot). I look in my Vectorworks application folder and there is a Plug-Ins folder, and there is a Hyperlink CW.vwr file and a Hyperlink CW.vwlibrary file. Bruce Kieffer
I see now that I have many more goofed plug-ins. They all have the same X as their icon, and clicking them gives me the same error message. My install must have gotten messed up. Anyone else have these problems? Quote Link to comment
Miguel Barrera
It is possible that you are missing the Hyperlink CW.qtr (quicktime resource) file. As the name implies it is a link to a view, sheet, web page or document/folder. Quote Link to comment
Bruce Kieffer
I looked on my MacBook Pro, and Vectorworks has the same problems there. I used the same installer on both computers. It has to be that. I will give tech support a call. Quote Link to comment
Bruce Kieffer
Did a fresh install, and there's no change. Quote Link to comment
Bruce Kieffer
Called tech support. Problem is I brought my 2013 workspace over to my 2014 install, and some of the plug-ins weren't found. Adding them using the workspace editor fixes the problem. I wish there was a workspace updater tool. These type of problems seem to occur with every new Vectorworks release. I use a heavily modified workspace, and would prefer to not have to recreate it every year. Quote Link to comment
