Need - script for EAP for door & window trim

Anyone have or can inform me as to how to go about creating a script to draw profile trim for doors and windows.

I want to be able to select a profile and then using EAP (unless better method)draw this trim so it shows in 3D.

See image of result I usually do by no script methods.

My suggestion would be to draw what you want manually & export it as a vectorscript. This will give you at least, a clue of how to do it in code. The EAP may not work to draw the corners correctly.

Are you saying that using EAP in a script it won't miter the corners?

That would not be good.

I say it may not be possible because I have not tried it. By definition an extrude will have the ends squared and you will need to miter the ends somehow. There is a possibility that if you can create a closed square loop for the path, the ends may get miter.

OK. When I manually create an EAP for window trim (rectangle) and choose profile, then do EAP the corners miter fine.

I still need to try this using a script.
